Urban History of Indianapolis

Excited because of Zeigler's extensive credentials as an author, educator and historian; a trusted source. Also, because the book includes a maternal relative: famous fashion designer Norman Norell. Norell (1900-1972) was born in Noblesville, Indiana to Laura Nettie -"Aunt Net" as my mother called her (1868-1962) and Harry Levinson (1867-1930), who established three Harry Levinson hattery and men's clothing stores in downtown Indianapolis beginning in 1905. Norman David "Buddy" Levinson, had a brother Frank (1894-1988) who lived around the corner from us growing up. Read more about Zeigler's research on Norell

Author Connie J. Zeigler, M.A. worked for nearly a year to assemble, update and revise the information for this new book (acknowledgments). A must read!
